A nice initiative from the Harold Washington Library Center located in Chicago plans to open this year, a workshop for its members to explore 3D printing. That's a total of three MakerBot 3D printers, milling machines and laser cutting various tools that happy members of the library will be able to use for free.
Although the shop is not open yet, we learn that the library has already received a staggering amount of emails from people who want to print iPhone cases, fashion accessories ... A service that should attract a wide audience knowing that many paid and free 3D models have long been available on the web.
Although temporary, it is therefore possible that librarians continue the expansion of the first urban workshop Note also that it is necessary that one of them approves the establishment of users before they can be printed in order to keep some control.
