Microsoft will drop the price of its RT Surface

In order to better sell its tablet, Microsoft will sell out very soon RT Surface with declines of up to $ 150 for each model, according to The Verge. Thus, the entry-level 32 GB of storage space will increase from U.S. $ 499.99 to $ 349.99. For the 64GB model, the reduction of $ 150 goes to $ 599.99 to $ 449.99.
The same goes for the RT area with the keyboard Touch Cover (32 GB: 449.99 dollars against the current $ 599.99, 64 GB: 549.99 dollars against the current $ 699.99). This intention of lowering prices is not in itself surprising.In fact, the tablet Microsoft does not sell well, at least not as much as the U.S. manufacturer had hoped. The Apple iPad and some Android tablets now dominate the market without difficulty. Microsoft must respond so to increase sales and clear the excess inventory that would have to sell sooner but in the end is still there. Another case concerns the renewal of the tablet in a new version.

Indeed, RT 2 Surface should land in the next few months all logic. The first generation born in the fall of 2012. A refresh must take place to provide a modified product in terms of components and, optionally, in terms of aesthetics. For now, the next generation is announced to ship the Haswell processors from Intel, released last month and already operated by some brands including Apple with its MacBook Air.
